The 2018 Small Business Week starts today

The 2018 Small Business Week starts today and runs through the end of this week. This is an annual event hosted by the U.S. Small Business Administration. The SBA provides resources year-round for all small businesses and this week is the celebration of the contributions by entrepreneurs and small business owners.

If you are starting a new business, there are many online events happening this week to help you get started. Here are a few of the events which should help you out.

The U.S. Small Business Administration is hosting a virtual conference that runs from May 1 through May 3, 2018. Looking over their schedule I see a number of sessions that I am going to recommend my clients attend.

The IRS is also hosting a series of webinars this week from April 30, 2018 through May 4, 2018. There is one topic each day and it is being broadcast twice each day. Each session looks interesting but I really recommend the session on Monday, April 30, 2018 and Tuesday, May 1, 2018 because these topics are great for entrepreneurs starting a new business.

The webcasts that are provided by the SBA and IRS this week are all free and online. If you are able to attend, please use the comment section to let me know if they help you out.
